What TV shows are you currently watching

Just finished White House Plumbers. Was reasonably good albeit with a weird style (oddly comedic) that made me wonder if a lot of it was made up.

Snooping about on Wikipedia, there are clearly quite a lot of truths in it though.

I finished Silo the other night. Enjoyed it, but it got worse as the season progressed. Won't post spoilers but I felt like the best characters were in the first couple of episodes, and Rebecca Ferguson couldn't seem to decide on an accent. If you like Snowpiercer, Ascension etc you'll like this.

Just started watching 24 again, just hope I can find the boxsets for season 6 onwards. Have 1-5 to hand, but **** knows where I put the rest.
They're all on Disney+ if you can't find your DVDs. :)

I loved 24 but never gone back to re-watch, how's it holding up to the test of time?
Decently well, a lot of what 24 did has been done by numerous other shows since so it doesn't feel as fresh as it did at the time e.g. major characters getting killed off almost without warning was a bit of a new concept back then. It's still great though.

It is funny how they have a handful of people in CTU doing absolutely everything from tech support and server admin to intelligence analysis and operational oversight though. :p

Writing was out of this world. Each session is another layer of the onion. There's a YouTube channel called I stumbled on called "a man's world" who analyses key characters and story arcs. It got me itching to rewatch.

I originally watched it as it aired and remember the first few seasons were in 4:3 aspect! Hope the remastered it.

I watched the first two seasons recently, been so long I even forgot some of the plot twists.. I think its still a good watch but agree with the statement that its dated.

Finished off Happy Valley S1, very satisfied with how it all wrapped up, nothing over the top and a sensible/grounded ending. Been a while since i've hated a villain as much as Tommy, irredeemable and broken, i'm guessing we're seeing more of him down the line.

Watched Hijack over the weekend. It kept me gripped. It's not often I can sit and watch consecutive episodes of longer drama shows, but I did here. They did a good job of finding a new issue to deal with each episode.

There were a few odd things, almost lazy writing (like running out of fuel when they hadn't really diverted any longer distance or made it as far as the original destination of Heathrow. Also, no mention of the people they let go... and then tried to capture almost immediately meaning there was no point in letting them go in the first place... I know one got shot, but the other just got away with millions?)

It could just have been me not in the mood. I find sometimes I just cant get into a series too well, though its unusual when I already watched the first season

The first season of The Bear I thought was a little random and I wasn't really sure what the point of anything was. The second season, at least I could see what their aim was, but still a few random things (like I mentioned before, the guy in the bicycle accident for example. What was that about?)
