What TV shows are you currently watching

I've been watching this on Freeview and it's nowhere near as funny as I was was expecting based on all the hype when it originally aired. It's quite cringeworthy in fact. I'm only on the first series and am persevering but it will definitely never be rewatched in future unless it improves drastically.
Just goes to show how different we all are, I thought it was pretty funny. Saying that though you have to give it a go as you start to feel the characters a bit more.

Clean Sweep.

An Irish crime drama on the BBC and it was surprisingly good!

I'm not sure if there will be a follow up series as it was left ending fairly ambiguously.

Each episode only 50 minutes but it held my attention throughout which is always a good sign!

That had some of the worst acting I have ever seen but I was thoroughly hooked.

Also just finished What Remains. An old crime drama from 2013. That was good.

As @gingergundog said, you have to get to know the characters. It took me a while to click with the show but once I did and I liked the characters I loved it. I actually like it even more on second viewing

Finally got around to watching Curb Your Enthusiasm, just finished the first series and I love it! Not as excruciating as something like The Office but so often it sets up a scenario brilliantly with a hilarious pay off.

Just given up on The Foundation after 7 episodes. A poor show before I’d read that it seems to go completely away from the books too. Maybe I’ll read the books instead.

That’s two shows I’ve not enjoyed on the trot now. The other being Silo. Least they were both as part of a free month of Apple TV!

Yeah I started it to see what all the fuss was about. Got part way into the second episode and switched off. Terrible. About as funny as Friends.

See, I actually really like Friends and have rewatched it multiple times. It's far more intelligent and far less forced. Schitt's Creek however is just about as mediocre as it gets so far, and that's being nice.

Watching From at the moment. Couple of episodes in to S2 and it's ok. Started out a bit creepy, but seems to be going down the Lost route of more questions than answers (it's from the same writers, so to be expected).

Finished up Justified. Excellent from start to finish, and satisfyingly wrapped up. Has a finer cast of utter ******** (children born out of wedlock) ever been assembled?

Just found out a sequel Justified: City Primeval has just started airing, but sadly isn't available anywhere in Germany for now.

Dark Winds, tribal police investigating murders and spooky happenings on a Navajo reservation in the 1970s. Only seen the first episode so far, but will be watching the rest.
