Finsihed the haunting of hill house - good tv. Is there another series like this one?
Highly rate Hill House.

The Haunting of Bly Manor - was good, but not as good as Hill House
The Fall of the House of Usher - not watched, but heard good things.
The Terror - people rave about it here, but didn't finish it.
American Horror Story - 12 seasons so far :)
Midnight Mass - watched 4 episodes of 7. Yes, still watching @Kyo :)

Young Sheldon. I’ve just finished the first series.

When it originally came out, I saw the first episode and I was expecting something similar to TBBT. Because it was so different, I really didn’t enjoy it.

A few years have passed and I thought I’d try it again. My opinion has changed - it’s very good.

I'm catching repeats of TBBT and tbh, it's not funny! It has its moments, but more than a few occasions when the canned laughter starts, it's like, "wtf are they laughing at". Like Friends, it hasn't aged well.

We watched Young Sheldon from start to finish as a family, it has laughs, sad moments and good wholesome family viewing. Haven't watched the spin off of a spin off yet - Georgie and Mandy.

Filmed live in front of a studio audience, wasn’t it?

Includes both live audience reaction and canned laughter.

But deffo laugh track heavy. There was a scene where Stuart talks about suicide = canned laughter. Also after every sentence of dialogue = canned laughter.

First time i watched the show, i didn't mind it, but catching the repeats, it's very noticeable and very cringe.

Rewatching Lost and just finished Season 3.

Through the looking glass part 2 is one of the best season finales ever.

”Not Penny’s boat”

“We have to go back”

A lot of people turned off WandaVision due to the first few episodes, but it was actually very good. Agatha worth a go then? (the TV show too?)

I'll admit, I hadn't been giving it my full attention. It was a show to have on in the background. A bit of silly, light-hearted fun.

It doesn't stay that way though. Episode 7 was excellent. I think I need to rewatch it, as I wasn't giving it my full attention & it jumps about a lot. The story seems to be heading in an intriguing direction. Hopefully the last two episodes are as good as episodes 6 and 7.

IMO the "woke" accusations are unfair. There's no token diversity here. And the show doesn't go out of its way to push social issues. So what's the issue? That a story about witches is female-led? The vast majority of people accused of witchcraft were women. Or does an openly gay male lead and the sight of men kissing on screen just make people uncomfortable?

It isn't as good as WandaVision. But it's a lot better than I expected it to be.

Silo - Fallout without the humor, quite enjoyed this overall and ended up watching it over 3 days, you have to switch off to some of the world building mind (how does an entire population loose its entire history and capability?!).
Yeah, I just rewatched this having just read the book and S2 coming in a couple of weeks. I know a lot of people complained about 'filler'. Maybe they've read the books as they are almost different stories with only a few things linking them. The only real filler was fixing the generator. It will be interesting to see if S2 follows roughly the second half of the first Omnibus book.

Just watched (binged one after another):

Evil - 7/10 shame it was cancelled, it was a good background show.
Silo - 7/10 Interesting at first but the cliff hanger was extremely disappointing, I think the other seasons will be a bit predictable.
From - 7/10 Still interesting up tot he latest episode but its very very slow paced, I would have like more development in the story.
Severance - 9/10 I watched this a while ago and it left a decent impression on me, looking forward to the new season.
The 100 - 6/10 Oh my god this is getting tedious, I haven't watched the last season yet because its really that bad.

Plan to watch:
Devs
Utopia
Lazarus project
Sugar
The curse
Counterpart

Devs is pretty much the same as Severance for me just with worse music.

Counterpart is probably the best of that list. Lazarus Project is quite fun (at least the first season), so long as you don't mind the main male actor. He was a bit too much of a doofus for me.

I like The 100, mostly, but a remake that really developed a lot of the aborted/not properly developed plot lines would be so much better.

Yes, they never really delivered on the big "Is Murphy gay?" issue.

I think I've seen series 1 - 6 and mostly enjoyed it, but there were always gaping plot holes and undeveloped/explained aspects. For example the original concept was that a space station orbiting the planet could detect no sign of human life on Earth. But when the 100 landed they found that grounders existed in huge numbers and even had cities and the mountain men still maintained "modern" technology.
