What TV shows are you currently watching

Amen, its such an underrated scifi tv series. Yes it got deep into religion and philosophy somewhat but it this was highly important to the very last episode and last scene that took place.

Its just a shame the prequel series was canned early that had great potential.
Would have loved for Caprica to have continued, as you say loads of potential and the styling was ace.

Battlestar Galactica is one of my fav sci-fi shows, think I've probably watched it through 4 or 5 times now.

Watched the finale of Agatha All Along last night.

I went in with low expectations & found the first half of the season mildly entertaining. Not terrible. Not spectacular. But the story really picked up in the second half, with some great & unexpected twists. On reflection, it's also quite a dark story. Lots of death. And nobody really emerges from the story a hero - they're all villains in their own way.

My main gripe is the presence of the usual Marvel light-hearted comedy. The need to constantly keep the tone light & jovial undermined what is actually an incredibly dark story & only reduces the impact of events on the viewer.

8/10 and the second best TV show that Marvel Studios has done so far (after Loki). And yes, that does mean that I think it surpassed WandaVision in the end.

I’m gonna have to resume from episode 4.
Hope it picks up soon, so far each episode is like a room in the crystal maze.

I had this recommended by a colleague and my other half liked the look of it too. Should have know man better. It’s a Death in Paradise clone and is completely unbelievable and repetitive. I thought it would be a good arc about him finding his brother but it’s just “oh there’s been an unrelated murder in the town” and off we go. Rinse and repeat. I’m very bitter because my girlfriend is enjoying it and I want to start The Penguin
Just finished this over the weekend. Overall I quite enjoyed it but could have been far far better if it had not chosen the 1/3 rd filler route, which was clearly designed for a 2nd season carry on, the building site ep was especially needless and visually unappealing.
A one season, 6 episode tightly focused series could have made it an absolute banger. That being said the school ep was good, some heartfelt moments.

7/10
