What TV shows are you currently watching

Watched disclaimer.

Good cinematic and ep 3 was quite intense.

Rest was quite dark in places

I am not sure about the end of it though

Watching Starting 5 on netflix, I suppose its more of a documentary than a show but i've enjoyed it so far. The last episode I watched was interesting because the players had this kind of 'revelation' that looking after their bodies as professional athletes was a good thing. I would have thought any team paying someone $40M+ dollars a year would have a sports nutritionist on them 24/7
 
Watched first episode of The Penguin last night. Promising start and hopefully it turns out to get even better as struggling to find anything decent to watch.

The wire, Sopranos, Justified, Band of Brothers, the shield, breaking bad, us office, fargo, deadwood, silo, Friday night lights, house, true detective, utopia....

You just reminded me I never finished watching Season 2 - probably for the same reason as you! I think I'll force myself to get through it just to see where it ended up but damn, it became hard going!
 
Falcon and the Winter Soldier. 8-8.5/10

2nd watch of this show. I think, like with most good (initially) weekly shows, it's better when watched a 2nd time round without the weekly gap. John Walker/US Agent really stands out for me. A great introduction to a new character who has elements of Falcon, Bucky and Steve all rolled into one. The biggest only weak point for me was the boring Sharon Carter character.

Mainly rewatched this after seeing the recent trailers for Captain America: Brave new World (Falcon/Cap) and Thunderbolts (Bucky & US Agent). In the end most of the Marvel TV shows haven't really carried over into the films, so it will be interesting to see these characters continue on the big screen, after their last small screen outing.

Started our annual MasterChef the Professionals watch for 2024. Always a joy to watch people in the industry come and blossom. And some great food too. Only finished EP 1 yesterday and there's already nine there! So with moderation should see us through to crimbo.

I look forward to it every year too and it's part of my ritual to Christmas.

Except I don't have the restraint you do as I binge watch each weekly episodes in one evening!
