What TV shows are you currently watching

A second viewing of Chernobyl, truly horrifying.
That show was amazing and...I realised very early on that when they said "an area of europe was covered in radioactive dust" meant us. THAT wasn't a great feeling when that hit home. lol

Does anyone know what the BBC show spooks was called in international markets? I'm trying to find a torrent.

Yeah, generally accepted it went a bit south in the last few seasons , shame.
There were a few highlights, namely being the battle of the ********, hardhome and the emasculation of reek but otherwise after the red wedding it started becoming a "watch during the week when I'm bored" effort - which as you said, is a real shame because the buiild up to the red wedding had been phenomenal

Halfway through Cross (Amazon Prime).

Really enjoying it. There's a tiny bit of slowness in each episode with brooding backstory melodrama, but on the whole a good "cop searches for serial killer" type of show.

Cross was excellent. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it, but I think it's probably one of my highlight of the year. Aldis hodge was perfectly cast, and showcases and reminds you of why ryan eggold was such a highlight in the blacklist (but not so much in new amsterdam. stay away from that one. no no no. i call that show gaslight hospital storytime) If they're smart, they'll co-ordinate it so that while reacher is off season, cross is on season.

I'm planning to finish it today. It's probably on my list of 3 favourite crime/action/thriller shows on Prime, coincidentally all made by Paramount Television ; Jack Ryan, Reacher and Cross

I'm on episode 4. No real physicality yet from Cross, but he looks like he could partake in some Reacher style ass whooping, even though he's supposed to be more cerebral. Ryan Eggold is suitably creepy so far.

Is season 2 as strong as the first? I'm kind of holding off so I can watch it all at once.
I'm also watching this. I planned to wait till it Season 2ended and binge it, but buckled in the end.

Glad I did, It's as good if not better than Season 1 so far and I'm enjoying watching it weekly and getting a few answers each week.

Caveat: I haven't read the books, those who have seem to not be enjoying it as much in the main thread.

I haven't read the books, but I have found that while i do enjoy apple TV in particular for giving love to sci fi as a genre, it's a better option to watch them all in one sitting - I kind of think apple knows that's what's happening. Generally speaking with raised by wolves, foundation and dark matter I waited until they were at least 4 episodes in.
