What TV shows are you currently watching

Halfway through Cross (Amazon Prime).

Really enjoying it. There's a tiny bit of slowness in each episode with brooding backstory melodrama, but on the whole a good "cop searches for serial killer" type of show.

didnt you hate the wokeness of it ? its very stereotypical and borderline racist tbh.

Hmmmm. I thought the BLM style storyline at the beginning was a bit 3 years ago, but as it's based on some books, maybe that's the source material? Apart from that, i'm struggling to think of anything stereotypical or racist.

its so in your face all the way through the show its unreal.madness is exactly the same too. whatever sells i guess. but it didnt need to be done the way it was done.

Dark on Netflix
Season 1 decent
Season 2 started to lose the plot towards the end.
Season 3 - Just basically used it to fill in the plot holes from the first two.

worth a watch

Watched the last episode of 1883, last night. If you like a cowboy or a miniseries then this is ideal. The score and the storytelling reminded me of BoB. Definitely 8/10.

Can’t see me watching 1923 or Yellowstone though.

Started on Money Heist as had it on my list for a few years now, already into s3 as it's grabbed me and the episodes aren't that long. Hopefully it changes things up enough with the 'heist' in s3 to not be a copy of the one from s1 / s2.

I really enjoyed 1883, and would have loved more of that.. I also watched the first series of 1923 which I enjoyed.. not quite as much.. but will definitely watch season 2..

I've never watched Yellowstone, and have no interest in doing so.

The last ever episode of Gavin and Stacey and loved it.

I didn't like the last one 5 years ago so I was really worried it would be another let down but thankfully it wasn't.

It was perfect. 10/10.

Just finished! Loved it, but didn't think it was 'perfect'.

Pete and Dawn - glad they got back together, Dawn was happy, but Pete seemed like he was rail roaded into getting back together and wasn't happy.

Bryn just came across as angry and bitter throughout :(

Vaping in one hand with a fag in the other - lol. And what happened on the fishing trip!!!!!!

Was 'almost' perfect :)

Yeah Bryn came off rather angry which wasn't so good.

It did just looked like they all genuinely enjoyed being back together and it wasn't forced like the one 5 years ago.

I'll just pretend the one 5 years ago didn't happen! Lol!

Felt like a fitting ending though and I'll rewatch the whole episode again in the next day or two. :)

agreed 100%

felt the 2019 special was going the same way as the last three only fools and horses, but the finale was fantastic. They somehow managed to make it feel like the originals. Loved the twist and the two scenes with Mike.

Oh, and Pete dressed up like a teenager lol

SAS Rogue Heroes - Surprisingly good, it's weird seeing some actors playing roles that are the complete opposite of roles that they played in Movies/TV Series that got them their popularity. It's just like when Rowan Atkinson played a few serious roles after Mr. Bean, it's hard to take someone seriously as at the back of your head you still see Mr. Bean...

Bsttlestar Galatica (2004). No idea how many times I’ve watched all of this now but what a great show. Always gets you in the feels at the end.
