What "unheard-of" bands do you like?

I got a friend who used to see the Killers when they were playing in Bars in Vegas, in fact, her ex-fiance are good friends with their drummer and used to hang out together.

Personally, I don't go to local gigs in pubs, so the bands i see are in places like Glastonbury and Reading which is kind of already made it.

I'm liking "The Black Apples" at the moment, went to see them last night at Stoke's "The Underground".

Got a demo CD from the bassist, ripped it and uploaded to webspace if anybody's interested:

Lovin' track 5.

Their myspace "clan" thing (which all the Kool Kat bands are now using) is myspace.com/theblackapples

Tell us whatcha think :)

Wow, someone else who likes him, finally. I've been pimping his stuff on here for a while no, with no success.
Joey Beats solo stuff is also worth checking out, his recent album "Indie Rock Blues" is great.

Yeah i've always loved the 'back and forth' between two singers. Havent really investigated it much though - with a girl and a guy, especially in Sonic^ it sounds damn awesome imo. Hmn.. how about hiphop/ska bands along the line of King Prawn :salute:, anyone? :)
