-Love the uni, course is pretty good too
-Got a £28.5k grad job signed and sorted in my degree area

King's College London
Physics with Computer Science

It has its moments, I think I would have preferred a business/finance degree instead now though. University is great, Kings is spending lots of money, including massive re-development on the Strand campus. Best union in UoL too. I'm in the second year of my course. :)

Career Ideas?
Planning to work for myself for as long as possible.

Apart from it being mainly full of male geeks, its pretty decent, and being in london the world is your oyster really. subject wise, I don't really like chemistry and more, but i can just about force myself to do the work most of the time.

I think i'll either end up going in to investment banking, or study accountancy, but in general i really don't have much idea at the moment

Period
Was at Edinburgh for 5 years (had to resit a year) and am 6months thro a 18month course at Oxford.

Hated computer science, hence getting a 3rd in it, far too boring. Loving commercial pilot training so far, altho there is a huge amount of stuff to learn for the exams tho  done 7 of the 14 exams so far and got 96% average tho so going well so far ;) only a month to go before I'm off to the US for 5 monthd for the fair weather flying

Career Ideas
Well obviously a flying career lol. Hopefully I'll never have to use my degree!! As for flying, don't really mind what airline to start with, but would like to start of with Loganair flying around scotland, then go to a lowcost, mayb easyjet to get some jet experience before joining a big airline, Virgin or BA perhaps. Will have to see what comes my way! I also plan to instruct at the weekends doing PPL stuff.

-edit- for the confusion OAT is not a uni, its just a flying school.

- Uni of Portsmouth

- Internet Technology

- First Year. 3/4 years depending on placement year.

- Enjoy my course but its a bit repetitive seems like first year is justr trying to get everyone up to the same level before splitting into different subject areas - which is understandable. Really like the Uni as a whole though.

- Wouldn't mind going into cyber security at the end of my course.

Career Ideas
Psychiatry, oncology, maybe surgery.

1. Barts and the Royal London school of medicine and dentistry

2. Medicine

3. 1st year of 5 :(

4. It's great but gets really stressful at times. Coupled with being sick and having other problems, im not enjoying it as much right now, but can only get better :)

5. Would love to do surgery, but I'm a little put off by the lack of interaction with the patient in that you dont get to know them etc, so hmmm.

I love medicine. Our course is grand as it's setup for us to meet people on a social basis, and gives us lots of time to meet patients and medical staff.

The university isn't that great in a social aspect but dundee also had dundee uni which is full of students (the city its self is something crazy like 15% students!) so you're never really bored. The course is good, its a challenge (in my first year doing GBA developement using assembly/C :O)
