What University do you attend and what do you study?

I go to a university thats expecting an essay from me by 12-noon. Its finished.... just. I just cant see strait to read it through, will have to wake up at 9 go to uni read it through, realise its rubbish, then hand it in.

Oh, what fun!

Do you like what you're doing?
The university is amazing, especially loved the first year. My course is a bit general (you learn a bit of everything about computing from programming - databases - networking etc) but I am doing specialised subject in my final year of networking so should be good.

Career Ideas
I would like to work in a foreign country, not much to do here in the uk but definetly want to work with networking.

Very pretty university and the city is good. I enjoy the course very much, although some of the maths is rather hard.

Career Ideas
Accountancy probably. Possibly something in business, but definately not in marketing.

Really good course. Good variety of subjects in the first couple of years allowing you to specialise in things you find interesting in 4th and 5th years.

Career Ideas
I specialised in electrical power engineering so I'll be going to work on the electricity networks. My aim is to get some good experience both in dealings with the regulator and in asset management to allow me to move easily between different utilities further into my career.

it's ok, I really would have prefered to have done graphic design, although it worked out ok, as I mate the other guy to start up my design studio in my classes.

Graphic Design, something along those lines.

MPhys Physics whith Quantum science and lasers

4 years of study (2 and bit still to do.)

Absolutely love it. It really is a satisfying degree to do, as the area of physics answers so many questions and posses so many as well.

Afterwards.... Now there is a tricky one...... Hopefully a Ph.D and then research, or something completely different, don't know yet :/

4 years for the LLB with honours, nearing the end of my 3rd year and if I want to become a solicitor I've still got 1 years Diploma in Legal Practice then 2 years traineeship after that.

Do you like what you're doing?
The university is ok(best in Scotland for law according to one table ;)), the city is pretty good overall for nightlife and it is small enough so that you begin to know lots of people. The course has been much more enjoyable for me than my first choice of Computer Games Technology, it can still be boring but overall it is good.

Career Ideas
Not sure yet and no jobs offered although I did have an informal offer of a traineeship from my last work which I knocked back.

Been offered about 3 network techie jobs for when I finnish generally arount 15 - 18,000, though I'm not actively seeking a job at the mo. Have also secured myself a shiny new house in Birmingham (SellyOak)

yeah, programming is interesting, although challenging, as is the maths

I was over at the open day and a women with glasses was demonstrating visualisation course, was interesting.

I might be taking up on software engineering at hallam.
