What Virtual Reality games are you playing?

The Light Brigade. Runs a bit janky on Quest but is a really addictive roguelite with a great atmosphere and some of the best two handed gun handling I've experienced in VR

IM looking forward to that one, looks like In Death but with guns, which I enjoyed!

If you've not played Red Matter 2 then you're missing out. Also I'm just discovering Into the Radius. Very Stalker like
Into the Radius was great, slept on that one for ages before finally playing it last year.
I picked up Peaky Blinders so planning to give that a go when I get a little time.

Just bought Vertigo 2 on Steam which I played for a bit and seems very Portal like in it's humour. Some good gameplay too. Runs incredibly well, barely stresses my GPU, but looks good. I wouldn't say it's AAA quality, more like AA but it's a cut above most other recent releases. Probably the best since The Wanderer in terms of visual quality.

I enjoy my time with the Light Brigade. The game is limited, but a combination of the focused design, pacing, and 100% made for VR stylisation and execution, make the game more engaging than it looks on face value.

Starting to get hip to the genre in general. I keep grinding on Gunfire Reborn, and yesterday finally got around to trying Hellsinger with the VR mod. Couldn't get more than 60 frames with anything more than 3 creatures on the screen, but easily overlooked when the game is that fun, satisfactory, and engaging. 96% overwhelmingly positive in the reviews seems about right, it's unique with what it does in having you play to the rhythm, which is amplified by the haptics in the motion controls that help keep you on beat.

The terrain detail of msfs is really good compared to dcs. It's running ok on medium settings with my 3070 but I can certainly see where it would look far better with a more powerful GPU.

Need to experiment more with the settings to see what I can squeeze out.

Just finished playing Moss: Book 1. A surprisingly fun and entertaining game. I will definitely be buying Book 2 (when it's on sale :)). Other than that I've got Iron Man on the go but I'm only playing that in short bursts as I've had a bit of nausea when playing. ALVR seems to be making some inroads for Linux too - I've been using the nightly appimages and have managed to play a couple of games in my Steam library now, though some still don't work properly - controllers not being detected and odd GUI display heights being the most common for the games that do properly launch.

Got back into No Mans Sky with the new update, which has massively improved the VR performance. Also playing Vertigo 2 which is a fun game with some great graphics and gameplay but shows its single man developer origins.
Also playing The Light Brigade which is a really playable and atmospheric rogue-like shooter with great gunplay.

Half Life 2 Episode One. Free VR mod off steam if you already have the game. Works flawlessly without any faff. As per main Half Life 2 mod excellent and better than most VR only games

Doomvr - had it for years but only recently found there is a fix for many of the control issues.
Literally think i missed the steam community post by a few months as last time i tried to play it was in 2020.

Anyway works great now on the knuckles and i think there is a mod for oculus too.

As with all these ports cant believe how big the enemies are in vr. Baron of hell is huge. It is pretty short but its quite intense in vr so that is fine. Well worth playing
