What VR games are you playing?

I've been playing The Mages Tale after picking it up in the Oculus sale. Textures are low-res but it's quite a fun campy dungeon crawler with some interesting ideas. It has lots of interactions that makes ingenious use of the touch controllers. I also picked up Space Pirate trainer, which is a lot of fun. It's just a wave shooter, but very well done, and well worth the price.

Nothing really i just fancied the Vive more over the Rift since Facebook got more involved with it :(

Yeah I'd do a bit more research if I was you rather then spend and extra £200 for no reason whatsoever. Facebook have had no visible input into it so far other than buying the company.

I bought a Vive but got it brand new with Fallout VR for £540.

I had a rift last year, if I was doing it all again and not on a whim (like the vive was) I'd probably go for the Rift and save £200. The Vive seems marginally better that's all...

Got Dirt Rally on steam for £7.99, an absolute bargain and it’s breath taking in VR, even with an xb360 pad, I can only imagine just how good it would be with a wheel and pedals..
Also playing Bullets and More’s new Battle Royal mode, really good fun!

If you haven't tried out 4 player quests in RecRoom, i highly recommend it. I wish they made a stand alone full game of this. I've had some of my best gaming moments ever playing this with my friends the last few nights. Be prepared to be ducking and diving. Have the towel ready for between levels :)

I'm waiting with bated breath for Fallout. Lucky I only played a bit before it was announced so quit there and then.

Roll on the release date

From Other Suns is taking up far too much of my time recently. It's very addictive, even though it's a bit rough around the edges. If anyone wants to team up then my Oculus name is also Ravenger.

I picked up a Logitech G29 in the black Friday sales, and though I'm rubbish at driving sims generally, I'm having fun trying to get to grips with Project Cars 2. The immersion is incredible.

Ive been wondering about from other suns, missed the beta weekend. Now just to convince a couple of friends to pick it up. I imagine its like bridge crew, ok single player but on another level when played with friends.

Hi, I think someone should start a thread named Virtual Reality Games or VR Games but as I don't have a VR headset I'm not the right one to do it,

I just came across this and wanted a suitable thread to post it in.

I enjoyed Dead Effect and Dead Effect 2 is more of the same, I haven't got around to playing DE 2 yet (non VR version) but this VR version looks to have avoided two of the three main reasons I won't buy a VR headset.
Those reasons are floating hands and spot picked walking.

Rez Infinite VR. Now, that was pretty cool. Not really a game, but hey... And of course, still going back to Alien Isolation and Lone Echo, which I haven't yet completed. Played some Battlezone too, I enjoyed that.

By the way, keep an eye on Space Junkies. I'm playing it tomorrow, subbing for a friend in a little tournament, and I'm expecting it to be quite fun.

I'm playing a lot of From Other Suns recently. It's got some rough edges, but it's very addictive. It's great in co-op, but still very playable in single player. Also now I've got a steering wheel I'm enjoying various driving sims, including Project Cars 2.

After a recommendation I picked up pinball fx2 in the sales for £5.99. Really works well in vr. Can use pad. Been playing all weekend.
Also just completed Witchblood. Another cheap game, think it was a few pounds in the sales. About 4hr gameplay. Same viewpoint as the underground levels in luckys tale mixed with trine. Not the greatest game, but vr gives it that extra immersion.

I picked up space pirate trainer on sale and it's good fun (and brick hard). Tempted to pick up an Rpg to see if all the reviews are worth believing

La Noire VR.

It's outstanding. The specs might be high, but visuals are the crispest I've seen in a VR environment, let alone an open world. The mechanics and interaction when you're driving are bang on, the fist fights are perfect 1 on 1 with there interactions, gun play is standard VR hotness, arm swinging movement brings sense of urgency when running somebody down.

Everything about it is VR done right, even the detail like the tip/shadow of your police hat over your view. It just drips with class and style. If they were to bring what they've done with LAN to GTA, it'd blow your mind.

Finally got around to playing Echo Arena today and wow, thought I was used to VR but some of the movements in that really get me! Great fun though and I can see myself getting a lot of games in it.

Picked up Lone Echo whilst it was on sale a few weeks ago only played for 2 hours due to work commitments, it’s absolutely incredible the immersion I felt is unlike anything else I have played so far, sadly I can’t see how I’m going to have time to get back in to the game for awhile. Dam family!
When I can I also like to hop into Bullets and More, but due to the tiny online player base (why????) I end up coming straight off more times than not

Do you play this on Rift Using a work around or on a Vive? I would love to play this when I get my PC up to the recommended specs, currently I’m way off!
