And what do you remember about it?

Keegans testimonial for me in 1984.
Newcastle V Liverpool , finished 3-3 iirc.
Liverpool were good in those days ;) and (I think) Newcastle had just been promoted to the first division under Keegans inspiration.

Id just turned 7 and spent pretty much the whole game on my Dads shoulders , swaying with the crowd behind the rusty metal fences in the Gallowgate (pronounced gallagit , btw).

After his lap of honour a hellicopter landed on the pitch and scooped up Keegan and swept him away!
Loads of fireworks went off and "Auf Wiedersen Kev from Top Shop" was burning in massive letters on top of one of the stands.
Class.
 
Probably going as a little kid to Wembley to watch an England schoolboy game.

Cant recall anything about it, suppose I could have seen a few of todays top players but I've got no idea :o
 
Salisbury City vs Tottenham Hotspur (heh).

I remember the score was 2-4, and being a pre-season friendly Thorsvedt wasn't playing so it was Ian Walker in goal. I remember after the match the fans came on to the pitch and a lad I was with asked Ian Walker for his gloves. He was told to, er, 'go away and copulate', well done Ian you big man.
 
A Stoke vs Port Vale derby in about...1994? My uncle got some cheap tickets, problem was that they were in the Vale end so we had to remain muted when Stoke knocked them in. :D
 
not counting the many times i got taken to Oswestry Town games as a kid the 1st 'big' (i use this term loosely :) ) match i went to was late 70s,Wolves v QPR,Wolves won,but due to the state of football at the time and it being mid November; i spent the whole match looking behind me for where the next firework was coming from ;)
 
Chelsea - Liverpool; Not sure the year exactly but early 90's (90-92) finished 0-0.
First game at Anfield was Liverpool - Norwhich; the last game of the old Kop and we lost 0-1 :(
 
crikey. Long time ago this. The first one I went to was liverpool v spurs in the early 80s. I was so young I barely remember it. Been a Liverpool supporter ever since!

The first one I really remember was for my birthday treat aged 9. Everton v Liverpool, Liverpool won 3-2 starting with a goal after 20 seconds from Kenny Dalglish in the 85-86 season.

Had a season ticket for 11 years now and have been to more matches than I care to remember.
 
Not bad first Game Manutd Vs Everton in the FA Cup Final 1985. My cousin took ill on the Saturday morning and couldnt go. So I had his ticket. Kevin Moran sent off. Big Norm with a curler around Nev the Binman in extra time.

Scunthorpe Utd Vs Hartlepool United at the Old Show Ground in 1982. It was a 3-3 draw with Steve Cammack getting in the goals. I thought it was amazing, never seen that many people together in the same place before.
 
first football match i went to... i played in as a school team :p

we lost 2-1, and i nearly scored a sitter but i was cleaned right out :p

2-1 was the best scoreline ive ever played in, all the other games are either being slaughtered 8-1... or winning 9-3 or something ridiculous
