I have a poor memory but my dad took me to a few games in the 80s but I don't remember them. I sort of remember the first game I went to with my mates though. As a glory hunter I started going the game regulary during the reign of the great greame souness. I think it was liverpool versus ipswich in the fa cup in 92.

First match was when my primary school took a group of us (free of charge as well) to see Brighton play Sunderland in the old second division and draw 2-2. They even brought each of us a pie at half time!

October 1994 - Hull City vs Crewe Alexandra

I was 9 at the time and it was 0 - 0 at half time.

The game finished 7 - 1 to city and I think its still the best match I've ever seen to date

Rotherham v Plymouth Argyle, 1st Feb 1969 (I've still got the program). We lost 1-0 but I've been a Miller ever since.

Was Bristol City v Millwall, sometime in the late 80's iirc i was about 4 i think so would have been around 87/88 . No idea what the score was though.

Crystal Palace v Spurs. 1993 I think. Lineker scored his usual tap in early on before a Gareth Southgate pile driver from 30 yds made it 1-1.
