What watch do you wear?

Black Bay Pro is off the cards now for me. It's over 14mm thick. For a 39mm watch that is going to look rather gaudy. I can see why there aren't any side profile shots on an official stock image level.

I think I may get a hybrid rubber strap for my BB58
Fixed my post in that case :cry:

It had missed me that it was that thick! Bigger than a pelagos?

Pelagos FXD is 12.75mm, non FXD is 14.4mm iirc - But the Pelagos is a 42mm watch so kinda lends itself to that thickness and has a 500m water resist with HE valve to accomodate (as pointless as that is on a dive watch lol) :p

Ooh. Which one ??

In blue! SRPB41J1

Those Presage dials

The 18mm bronze buckle from Stowa arrived today, and surprisingly it looks like the current bronze buckles are treated the same as the bronze case so won't go wild with patina beyond the tasteful factory finish which I really like. Will enquire about getting the 16mm original swapped under warranty with a new 16mm treated one too as a result of this discovery.

The charcoal Zuludiver strap definitely suits it I think!

Anyone had there hands on an Omega Swatch moonwatch yet , was wondering if the bio-ceramic its made out of is just the normal swatch plastic.
Got the missus working down in London for the next month so was wondering if its worth me telling her to camp outside the covent garden store and get me one for £209

From what I've seen of it, it's really plasticky and cheap. If it didn't look like a speedmaster, it would be £50.

Yes, it's junk. Looks nice from a distance but feels the sum of it's parts. Don't expect ceramic, it's very plasticky.

Have you (or anyone else for that matter) changed the strap on an Oceanus? The straps look very built in and not easily changed.
I haven’t. And I think you’re right. I’ve taken out links (requires a pin pusher) but not changed straps. Looks like it can be done though? Check out the t200 + strap on Google images.

Classic Wave Ceptor :D

I am on the edge of buying the Marine 36 Hand Wind, a recent release from Stowa. Previously I said I really liked the Marine Classic 36, but this new release has the ETA 7001 movement which looks a bit cooler from the back. The sub seconds dial is also a nice touch. 1100 Euros inc VAT is a decent price too. Obviously I'd be putting it on a Hirsch Pure black natural rubber.

Edit*
Ordered and requested for it to be brushed finished. £790+VAT. Hyped!

Seems they can't brush finish this particular model as they're already pre-made. Shame! Can wait until it's service time in a few years then request the case be brushed finished from whoever does the servicing I guess since the watch will be dismantled anyway.

Can't wait for delivery :D
