From Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic 46mm
To: Polar Grit X Pro Titanium edition
- Pros:
53 grams, i don't even notice it, the leather strap has small hidden elastic section that prevents unnecessary adjustments during the day, it keeps a snug fit throughout.
Fantastic sleep monitoring, data analysis and findings, far more impressive that Samsung.
Battery, it lasts 5 days no problem, with HR sensor on 24/7 whilst the Samsung was in that classic "in-between" 1 to 2 days so you end up charging it daily.
It's very much a sport training watch so covers 100+ sports baked in.
Sapphire glass for that next step up.
Cons: the touch screen is pure junk, terrible but they clearly know this with the 5 excellent physical buttons more than making up for it. Strong feeling they added it for the sake if it to avoid "No touch screen for £500+" clickbait reviews.
The price is £530+ for Titan edition but got 50% off through private work health insurance.
Few smart features, no NFC Google or Samsung contacless (used it few times a year, found unreliable in pubs, vending machines and poor handheld scanners).
No blood oxygen or blood pressure monitor, but taking readings using £15 armband checker.
Screen is limited in brightness, can't display social media pictures, only the text.
Overall once you move past the gimmicky features of other big brand watches you probably stop using I found this more convenient and better build quality, well worth the £215 paid.
