What watch do you wear?

For anyone interested. Casio have stock of the solar charging / Bluetooth GA2100. Be quick it won’t be there long I don’t think.

Email from Stowa this morning, their dial supplier has had a delay on delivery so no new Marine 36 for me this week! No ETA on when the delivery will arrive as the watch has to be finished as well.

Ah well, it is what it is.

Edit*

It has now been made! Shipping out Tuesday.

Also, gave my mate the spring bar tool and figured I'd treat myself and see what the Burgeon fuss is all about. £20 later...

Well the finishing quality is better for sure as is the grip. I like the longer handle, will make push pins etc easier to work with. I don't think it is £15-£17 better than the cheap one I had before but the material quality etc appears to be to a finer refinement which is nice.

This is my Steinhart Premium Blue. Bought it a few years back, and after 2 years or so, it started playing up, and eventually stopped. I packed it up to send it to Steiny to get it fixes, then forgot about it, then Lockdowns etc etc so nothing was done... So it's been on a shelf in my office, in a packing box for 3+ years!
I was watching Youtube a couple weeks back and someone mentioned demagnetizing the watches, as magnetism can affect the speed and sometimes the watch even stops working. That ticked me, I jumped on amazon and ordered a 16 quid demagnetizer... and 2 weeks later I tried it on the Steiny, and.... it worked! Watch has now been working for 4 days, as good as new!

FedEx seem pretty efficient this time round, got the import fees text earlier, paid online. Delivery still "on time" for later today. Nice.

Breakdown as follows:

So total has come to £990 inc VAT and the FedEx fee.

Lovely watch @mrk
:)
Looks good; in my head I was sure you had some 'dupes' but all look to fit a purpose.

Cheers, and yep they suit a different purpose whilst still aesthetically fitting a common theme which I would say is form and function in classic simplicity. All four analogue watches are modern versions of classic models by each company and there's some history to each one too which i what I've been looking for a while so am pleased this is now complete.

On the Marine Classic, the glossy dial really does keep me looking at it and moving it around as it plays with the light. Even though it isn't enamel, the paint they use it certainly has an enamel vibe too it and it's it's also ever so off-white like enamel too.
