If DHGate is like it is for football shirts they don't have the text on the pictures so the ads don't get taken down but it's a given it will be on the item

No way i'm paying retail for a Tag , even though i dont buy watches to make any money a watch that halves in value as soon as you take it home is a bit too much to stomach, have seen Heuer (reissue) Monaco's for around 4k and Tag Monaco's for 2.5k.

Trying to sort my insurance, 4 watches to cover

1 is still current so no issue putting a value on that, another has a very similar current model so ok there

I have 2 that are discontinued with no equivalent models though

seems insurer will take my word for value so wondering if any easy way to get an idea without forking out for professional valuations

Chrono will give a rough used value, I need new equiv replacement values

Re DHgate, if you see a football shirt the advertised pics wont have club badges but everyone know the item you get will have, I assume the same applies to watch sales
 
Not my watch but last week I was down seeing my brother and niece and we got talking about watches so he showed me this one

A Tonino Lamborghini Chronograph watch. He picked it up from a charity shop for £50 but I've seen the same watch on ebay for about £600! The top right sub dial sweeps every ten seconds instead of every second which i thought was a bit unusual.

He also showed me his 'Omega' but the weight gave it away for what it actually was! :cry:
 
This AI generated image of a watch made me chuckle. Showed up on my feed and I couldn't resist a glance at the article after seeing this for a dial! The entire article was generated nonsense as well, ofc.

I think I want a Seiko Seiko with a D: on the bottom of it!

It's pretty crazy, at this rate designers in all industries will be out of work because AI can generate these designs out of thin air in seconds.

I dunno, I quite like that. So the running second dial does a complete sweep in 10 secs, or it jumps in 10 sec increments?
