What watch do you wear?

My Seiko 5 winter watch. Slips under jumper sleeves better.

Love it. I bought a Moonswatch (shame on me) last time I was in Switzerland, I long for a real one.

I've also made a AliExpress special using a Mission to Mercury knock off and a knock off Moonwatch case. It's not terrible, but it's nothing like @Trick 's watch. Swoon.

honestly I’d be scared walking around with some of these lovely pieces, I’d probably accidentally clip it on a wall and scrape the he’ll out of it.

I have an old Vostok amphibia that I picked up when I did some contracting in Poland. It’s battered and beaten but does for every day work wear.

Was looking at the seiko snk809 as a simple work watch to replace the Vostok as it gets some looks at the moment

There's some gorgeous stuff in this thread that I don't think I could wear on anything but a very special occasion. I don't think I'd want more than 5K on my wrist either to be honest if I was out and about.

Some watches definitely lend themselves to everyday wear more than others.

Stuff like the standard Omega Seamaster and the Rolex Submariners (and similar) are good for a daily wear IMO. There's very little on them to get caught on stuff, you typically get sapphire glass that's very resistant to scratching and the bezels are enamel (or ceramic) and so very tough.

Steel straps as well which are probably the biggest wear item.

I've not really gelled with the Pelagos since I got it. I've not even worn it out the house.

I think I just prefer the look and weight of a steel watch.

So I think I might sell it soon. I really want one of these.......

Ok so this has been put on hold for now but I do hope to pick one up at some point. This unexpectedly happened instead

(Not my pictures or wrist but that is the actual watch I have just received this morning)

Looks great. I do find the planet ocean is a bit Lambo vs. Ferrari. It would be daft to have an understated Lambo (it's a ******* Lambo!!), so well done on speccing an outrageous colour way :D

how long have you had the watch, ive been eyeing up an eco drive for a few weeks but for £700 i was a but dubious about build quality

Right now im rocking a tommy Hilfiger, and it horrible the wear :D
I've had a Citizen Promaster Carbon for over 10 years now (which is an eco-drive) and it's still going strong.

I'm after another everyday watch OH has some expensive ones, i'm not bothered about going down that path.

Looking at a Seiko Speedtimer 1969 Recreation, about £590, any good for the money?
