What watch do you wear?

My First ever Christopher Ward and also the most I have ever spent on a watch.
It was an impulse purchase, saw the watch, noticed they did 12 months interest free, ordered it straight away.
I think I might be shopping there again once I have finished paying for this one. They do a C60 Pro 300 bronze that I really like the look of.
Id prefer it to be 41-42mm rather than 40mm but that is just knitpicking, I absolutely love it.

I still have an early CW Trident (pre the branding change) but have had a few of their watches over the years. I rather like the white and blue combo

I would love a speedmaster but £5k+ just doesn't make sense at the moment. Maybe in another 20 years or if I manage to win the lottery. Until then, houses and children will suck up 95% of my income.

Really liking the look of the new C60 Trident Lumière in black. Would want it on a bracelet though.
I horrified my wife by admitting I like the full orange combo :D
I have too many watches with either a black or a blue watch dial, need to branch out...

Had this for 6 months now and I still can't bring myself to wear any of my others. It's just perfect.

I was like that when I bought my Seamaster, worn it almost daily for 8 years now. Bought a couple of less expensive ‘dailies’ and then returned them because nothing feels as solid.

I do quite fancy the re-release of the Benrus 3061 for daily wear but not sure it’ll be back in stock anytime soon, if ever.

Do you get these serviced? My SM has ground to a halt and need to get it sorted but wary of wear to take it or send it.
The GMT was fully serviced by omega before I bought it so the cost was covered by the previous owner. The Speedy was similarly serviced in-house so doesn’t need anything doing for at least 5 years or so. The Ti probably does need a service sooner rather than later but it’s still operating within cosc ratings so there’s no rush there. But yeah, you do have to factor this stuff in when buying mechanical.

Modded a few casios over the last few days:

Awaiting a new strap for this, so tried a custom home made Orange/Red filter to match the overall colour..

Then I decided to try my first Negative LCD mod on a Casio, not perfect, but was happy with the process

So then i did the same LCD mod on a blue/grey fw-91 after it worked quite well on the first one :)

I did try a green filter on the same watch before the Negative LCD mod, but I was not too keen on the look. I am going to see if I can find some thinner/lighter filter gels to see if it would look a little less dull.

Also, I did some hydo-modding on two other casios not long ago. This is using a (tinted in my case) mineral oil to fill the watches and then re-seal them up. This significantly improves their waterproofing/depth performance and underwater visibility.

The FW-91 worked well and is in regular use, but the other leaked slightly, even with a brand new seal, so will have to try some other things to get it to work well.

I was quite happy with the overall look though! I will do some further experiments :)
