What watch do you wear?

My speedy appears to do that 1 in 20 tries. It's almost imperceptible and I find myself looking for the fault. Given it's a chrono I wonder if it's just par the course that they get a bit 'sticky'?

Some speedy owners run the chrono as the second hand..might be an idea to give it a day running?

Stunning watch other than the spit-on-my-families-grave date window :D
Cheers :)

Yep, could be just a bit sticky, maybe will loosen up. But like you I do find myself looking for the fault, triggering the chrono regularly.

Regarding the date window, I keep hearing people hating on it :p Not something I even thought about though to be honest. I guess it's one of those things that either bugs you or not :D

Merry Xmas, placed a midnight order for the Japan only edition re-issue of the Ironman Triathlon. I had the silver bracelet version of the original back in the 90s so this is some fond nostalgia as it got stolen in school one day:

Missus bought me a metal clock kit where you get pre cut metal gears erx but you have to assemble the gears and mechanism. It’s an escape mechanism too. Not got it to run perfectly yet as the escapement is a pain to get right.

I think I'm going to be resisting the watch sales this year. I'd been eyeing up either a Grand Seiko or an Omega but I've just moved the deposit into a savings account instead. I might change my mind in the next 12 months and opt for a new watch then! :o

The wife and I were lucky enough last January to travel to the Galapagos Islands and see all the amazing wildlife, swim with sharks and turtles, See unbelievable vistas and meet the wonderful people who live on those islands.

Just before we went, Casio "G-Shock" did a collaboration with the Charles Darwin Foundation and released 3 watches from the 5600 series which were nice but just a bit too basic, This December they launched 2 more but from the 2100 series and i couldn't resist and asked for one from Santa, Needless to say he was just as excited about it as i was

Anyways, here it is :D

Keep eying up a nice speedmaster but I just cannot justify something so frivolous when we are likely to be spending hundreds of thousands on a new house in the next few years. Should probably put it towards that instead

Ditto, I could but don't feel justified.

Have ordered a Pagani Design PD-1701 instead.

I was wondering if anyone has a Christopher Ward Twelve watch. I'm tempted but as they are direct from supplier watches I thought I'd garner some reviews from here first. I like the Tissot PRX (I have a Tissot at the moment) but the Twelve looks stunning online so was hoping someone might be able to share a short review of there's if they have one.

So after the great eBay ordeal of the “stolen” Norqain, got my refund and decided to do this properly. I had always wanted an Omega, but never really wanted to part with that much money. Always liked the simplicity of the Aqua Terra.

That is a lot more interesting than what you'd associate with AquaTerra tbf. Looks really nice!

If you have the Tissot already, the CW looks very similar. Do you want a similar looking piece or something more different?
