7 months since I got my SMP and worn everyday. One of the best things I have bought

Like how the light has caught the hands in the last shot

In acme's chair.
What is the consensus on Stuhrling Original watches? I have read fantastic things and dire things about them, which often means nothing because most people only chime in if they are displeased. The style of some of them appeals greatly to me, and they fall into a price bracket I can work with for smart/casual use where it would feel wrong to wear the daily and it isnt worth risking the Omega's neck.

I like this one for example:

They do rather strike me as a company that sells overpriced half decent stuff which looks quality if you don't inspect it too closely.

New strap on my Mondaine. Makes it feel like new!

Also just bought this from John Lewis. Not a Mondaine unfortunately (though it'd be about £1000 if it was) but still matches nicely and will look cool in the living room.

I have a chronograph watch (Seiko) and I never use the timing or tach features. Do you need them? The automatic movement is also more desirable because of the more complex movement .

I have ordered a SMP 300 M Chronometer Automatic (Co-Axial), 2500 movement, black dial and bezel.
This one : http://www.omegawatches.com/collection/seamaster/diver-300-m/co-axial-41-mm/21230412001003

I will be back home on the 10th Jan and can't wait :)

Nice. Same as mine but without the waves from a quick glance.

Where did you order from and how much did you get it for it you dont mind me asking? I got mine new from a omega reseller highstreet store for £2050. Goldsmiths had one for 2700

The bracelet is one of the things I like about it. Each link is 9 seperate pieces. Personally i think the chunkier links suit a larger face - having quite skinny wrists the bracelet IMO looks better and goes with the 41mm face
