What watch do you wear?

I was going to say, show me where I can get a Rolex on 0% for £60 a month!

Goldsmiths etc are all running 0% with 10% deposit over 48m currently but not on Rolex. You'd have to find a less mainstream jeweller for that brand. I know when I bought my sub I was offered it, although that was 2008.

People love to live beyond their means and the amount of young sales people I've met that finance Rolex watches etc is massive.

Not everyone who finances does so because they're living beyond their means. If I have £8k spare for a watch and I can get it on 0%, then I will and I'll put the £8k on my mortgage and exploit the 0%.

I agree though there are a lot of people who love buying things on the never never.

Other 1st world problems - I have an interview tomorrow morning with a rival company and I can't decide what watch to wear

I have a 1988 date-just which I wear most days but am concerned it may give the wrong idea to the prospective employer as it's a bit cliche in the motor trade. Other watches to choose from are all Steinharts: GMT ceramic, NAV-B chrono or a ocean black DLC. To go with a light grey suit and light blue shirt. Wish I had bought the 300M already!!!!

It looks as if the bottom pin on my Bremont Solo has bent a little as the top did when it was new. Take it to a local watch place or send it off to where I bought it? It's 18 months old so doubt it's in warranty.

Ditto, it just makes sense to use finance if the interest is 0% and you know you're good for all the repayments.

i keep thinking about getting an omega seamaster on 0% but keep bottling out, as much as i want one i keep thinking of other ways to spend my money, who knows one day i may own one

The problem with 0% finance rates on watches is you are stuck paying RRP for them beacuse negotiating a discount and using finance is impossible (from my experience).

I saved £600 on my Seamaster and £925 on my Planet Ocean by paying using a debit card on the swisswatchesdirect.co.uk website. You also still get the official Omega Warranty :)

You may need to put more effort into researching your prices, because there are other sites with discounts that also do 0% finance. :)

For sure there are : Those sites have a limited range and choice - perfect if you aren't picky about what watch you want. Most people are though when spending upwards of £2.5k

The daily mash currently has an article of the watch variety which was quite amusing today, on the front page, can't link for obvious reasons, but have a chuckle :p

It's rare for people to get Rolex's or similarly high-end watches on 0% finance,

I bought my Panerai 372 on 0% but generally would not as you usually lose any discount you would get by doing this, it was OK on this watch as there were no significant discounts at the time
