What watch do you wear?

Groan

3x more Barton straps are on their way! A mate who also got a Coniston after seeing mine wanted an all black one for his Morar (which he also got after seeing mine :p) and I've ordered myself a black one with orange underside for my Morar and blue one with red underside for the Coniston. Nice to have a choice of strap options

Just got my shipping email from Marloe so will have my Coniston tomorrow.....can;t wait.

I thought they only posted on Fridays during lockdown! Guess they recently changed!

My day. Bloody love this thing. Any occasion.

Any thoughts on Zelos watches ?

Just stumbled on them from the r/watches but some of their pieces look beautiful and tick all my boxes

https://zeloswatches.com/collection...her-500m-gmt-meteorite?variant=32001446969433

The design is perfect apart from having the date, wondering if it's worth waiting for a new collection to come along which doesn't have date as some of the previous ones ticked all boxes

Never had the chance to try one but have always been interested. Some of their models are pretty cool.

Came across one of these on my Instagram feed and simply had to have one.

DB-81-ST Cognit Schema.

A quick search on eBay resulted in one UK Casio collector downsizing his collection and this model was being listed! He had it up for £99 but I made a fair offer and got in. Quite cool to finally own a genuine vintage Casio and this one is especially rare as they were made for Archaeological Institute of America around 30 years ago. This one is new but old stock and never worn. The photo above is from the Instagram one I came across.

Reminds me of a GameBoy transparent edition which I loved back in the day, it has an electroluminescent backlight and displays the full date inc year on the main screen which is quite cool. The DB-80 model also had the ability to tone dial numbers stored in the databank which was cool but the 81 does not have the tone dial feature which is a shame.

Will be wearing this quite a often, but don't want to wear it out too much given its rarity.

Takes me back to my youth with the colour and style :p Plus only a handful of people in the world have one still so there is that too!

I used to wear fancy watches like Rolexes, Heuer and a fair few TZ watches. For the last two years they are all sat in boxes since I bought my Apple S4 !!

This is happening all over now. I see many of my friends with Apple watches and their 'nice' watches sitting in drawers, (or usually safes I suppose).

I have been looking at the latest watchOS with interest, especially the nsleep sensor and intelligent alarm wake-up system. Sounds good but could I wear a watch overnight?

Thanks gailjon, it sounds like a perfect daily driver, I wasn't aware of the size of it so will have to try it on to make sure I'm not going to end up looking like a rapper with a grandfather clock on my wrist!

I had a long think and try on with the two sizes but I am glad that I went for the larger version. It really does not feel large, even when I had not been wearing it for three moneths due to the watch being in Switzerland and then the jewellers through lockdown.

I really thought I would find it big but it just fits well.

Yeah they seem to get good reviews, question is do I wait for a new edition to come out that I like or get something now, I'm having a tough time finding something I really like, currently on my mind is this citizen - https://www.fhinds.co.uk/watches/me...019554E-Black-IP-Promaster-Divers-Watch-W3948 decent price and I like the look but I'm just not sure I want it, my hang up with the date (what's the deal with 99% of watches having a date anyway ?) really puts me off otherwise nice looking watches

Or maybe one of these

I love casio watches but only the ones where they fixed the brightness and angle on the viewing in the dark. It has to have a light if it's casio! lol

It arrived today and am happy to say the seller's description of being "new old stock, never worn" was spot on. He said he was downsizing a collection which seems true. Not a mark on this thing and the battery might be a little low so I'll change that soon. The EL backlight is great and when on, outlines the Archaeological symbol for the institute which at first looks weird as if there's a screen issue lol but all the special scientific issues have relevant symbols on each model it seems.

I'll post a proper photo afterwards as got TLoU Part 2 to complete but for now, phone pics and a video showing the beep tones as they are so 90s and bring back nostalgia for me :D

Nice Casio - I was looking at a Casio I bought in 1995, the AW-22, but they are going for £150 and it's not worth it just for the retroness.

A couple of macro photos of my Omega Seamaster and Planet Ocean 600M Deep Black GMT
