Well if it was true, you'd probably find me heading down to the show room near me full of Lamborghini's/Ferrari's/etc with a crowbar in hand :) (May aswell go with a bang right? :D )

The same 'theories' and 'predictions' were made for 2007 IIRC (and 2000).

Why do we as people always have to latch onto doom and death like this?

If I remember correctly the most recent end of the world dates involved:

Planet-X
Nibiru
End of the world
Pole Shift

Some crackpot predicted we were doomed a while back saying planet-x is coming and scared one or two folk on this very forum. Im sick of this pre-determined path that we are somehow supposed to be following like it has to be true just because somebody like nostradamus said so. So what if the mayans reckoned its the end. I say good! I will pull up a deckchair, crack open some beers and munch a mahoosive bag of pop corn whilst I watch the show for as long as I can lol.

My sister has some weird complex about the end of the world. Basically, if I mention something that may cause the world to end (asteroids, 2012 etc etc) she has panic attacks and then goes ape **** at me. I take great pleasure in doing this.

I'm a bad person :(
