that i did :) but i fancy whats in your sig, used to have a 330ci, just wondering how the 5 compares on performance and mpg etc?

Broadly similar - engine is identical but 5 weighs 100kg more, so it's about a second down on the run to 100mph and about half a second 0-60 :)

No idea on economy as I've not driven a 330 for long enough to really get an idea of the economy.

I did newcastle to rockingham round trip last year on a tank, averaged 33.8 mpg at a steady 75ish, which was about 460 miles or so i think

I did Plymouth to York at 75 on the cruise (69mph GPS) and got...

ID buy what i did buy, another 306, only with a larger engine than my 1.4. Couldnt afford the insurance costs on something quick just yet.

Personally, Id buy a Volvo 940 Cebebration or SE or something along those lines.

2.3 Turbo
Full Leather (Heated at the front)
Heated mirrors / rear screen
Aircon
Cruise
Bulletproof reliability
Plenty of space

What more does one need :D

Hence the option I went for, its not going to set the world on fire, but it will do while i save some pennies, i miss my old 350z dearly
Dont. I may have to do the same soon. Gonna be hard trading in the coupe for something dull.

As I stated, it would depend if I was looking for something quick or economical. Just random thoughts really. :p
