So, my copy of Borderlands ordered for me for my birthday arrived today - along with two additional copies!

Checked and have only been billed for one. All addressed to me, though one has an invoice addressed to someone else.

Already made up my mind what to do, but just wondering how many of you would keep them/sell them, or do the honest thing and return them/contact retailer?

I would keep them all but give the extra two copies to mates as xmas presents & then we could have some awesome Borderlands CO-OP fun!

I'd keep them. Their fault they sent them to you.

Well, maybe i'd send the one with the invoice addressed to someone else back, or else to them directly. But your copy and the other extra one i'd keep.

I'd call up the retailer and say i hadn't received any at all.. They will be getting at least 1 more call from the other person who didn't get their order so will prob assume its a major mess up.... It's likely they have an terrible order tracking system and you may get yet more copies

......... I'm joking of course.. I'd tell them, if they have given good service and delivered quickly, seems unfair to take advantage......

I'd keep them. I even kept a Nintendo Wii that was sent to me after I cancelled the order. Three years later and no charges or repercussions yet.

Personally I would send them back, I am honest and it would feel scummy to sell them on for money.

just because you arent legally obligated to return doesnt mean its right to keep them

For all the OP knows they might (however far fetched it is) be able to trace at least one extra copy got dispatched to him instead of the other invoicee

Although, lazy as it sounds, I'm not sure I'd ever get round to sending either copy back :s

Tell them that you don't want the game anymore and you have been sent 2 copies by mistake, one addressed to another person.

You get to keep one copy, and they may even give you something as a goodwill gesture
