What would you do with £50,000?

If I had to invest it, the money would go into shares. Wouldn't get much sitting in a savings account at current interest rates. In all honesty I'd probably spend quite a bit of it. Buy a new car, new rig, more clothes, road bike. Treat my parents and mates.
