What's better to wrap my sandwiches in: foil or plastic bag?

TBH you'll probably getting more damage from the air you breathe just going to work than you are from your sandwich wrapping.

Edit: so long as it's not an asbestos box with lead lining

So a sandwich box made out of arsenic would be OK? :)

The bread to make the sandwiches has already been sitting in a plastic bag for days before even making the sandwich. Right ?

Mine get wrapped in foil tbh.

I use beeswax wraps from a well known organic shop. They're expensive but well worth it. The chemicals in the plastics will kill you. Very hard to find BPA free sandwich bags.

You're supposed to take the sandwiches out of the bag before eating them

What about a glass tub? Far more environmentally friendly than foil, cling film or a plastic tub.
And eminently more breakable in yer backpack.

So, aluminium is different to tin in that it's really recyclable so recycled aluminium is almost easier to get hold of/cheaper than virgin stuff.

Still, use leftover takeaways plastic tubs. /thread
