What's the little thing that makes you smile?

The little thing on the back of my petrol flap to hang the cap in whilst I fill up :p
My A3 has something similar, I really miss it on the Lotus. Then I look out on the forecourt at the A3 and I don't grin whereas I do with the Lotus...

Is that possible in a 1.2? :p

1256cc :p

I have a pic somewhere of a bog-stock 1231cc Opel Kadett completely enveloped in tyre smoke at Santa Pod.

Incidentally - it's the same Kadett that's now in that thread I made earlier today and has Isuzu Piazza Turbo bits.

My car sounds like a 2.0 Pinto with straight pipes. It's great and completely goes against it's throbbing 70bhp.

beating the 1.0 and 1.2 litre chavmobiles from the lights (mines only a 1.6 but no moddage whatsoever, feels good to make someone in their 1.2 corsa sponsored by ripspeed look silly)

also holding 3rd round the twisties

not saing my car is fast but its not bad for a 1st car :)
I can relate to this, cept maybe the twisties bit, i aint that good a driver.

The purr like roar of the VVC coming on full chat.

Everytime it happens my mate starts doing racing commentry in the voice of Alan Partridge. I get dissapointed when my mums in the car because she just screams like a girl :(

neither am i :p, probably could hold 2nd round a few more of the bends, but i only passed my test a few days ago so dont want to lose my licence before its even arrived in the post :p

Hmmm. Guess it's when I hit the power band at 9000rpm and finally change gear at 15500 rpm. :D The engine/exhaust note from the V4 is sweet!

And also wasting nearly every car on the road!

I quite like embarrassing some rather more auspicious cars in my diesel hatchback :p ...it isn't exactly fast but then it's is by no means slow either, the secret weapon you ask? ...oh just a big 'ol anvil, a turbocharger, 240lbs/ft of torque and a nice slick 6 speed box :p

God knows how many BMW 318s have been made to look foolish for their arrogance. Larger and more expensive cars with small engines are great fun, the driver often thinks they are 'it' as they have a BMW or whatever, they just forgot about the bit where they actually have to fork out for the one with the 'proper' engine if they actually want it to perform like the 'ultimate driving machine' the salesman told them it would be ;)

Hang on, dont they do burnouts on that oily stuff, that doesnt count.

That Kadett is very nice, very Q car and I havent seen one for years.

Why not use an XE on carbs rather than a V8?

Wet roundabouts and gravel car parks:D. That and flooring it away from junctions and not the faintest hint of wheel spin. And indicator on the right hand side. And an interior light switch on the dash, I'm not even sure why that cool but I like it.

And penski if you can do burn out in the chevette I suggest some new tyres ;) .

Playing "I Like To Move It" by Reel 2 Real loud with the window down. Makes me smile big time. Don't ask why, because I don't know, it's just one of those songs :D

Waving at another Mini driver when out in my girlfriends Mini and getting waved at in reply.

Just love the whole "club membership" feeling. :)
