What's the oldest game you've played recently?

Quakeworld (1996), played today.

In terms of singleplayer, I guess it depends what you call recent. I played Deus Ex (2000) about a month ago or so.

Unreal. Ahead of its time. Still a good game imo.

Definitely, the only thing I think it suffers from these days really is the lack of any sort of radar/objective indicator. It's from an era when FPS games just dumped you in a level and you had to find the exit, not always that straightforward in a game like Unreal with pretty large areas. Or strange levers you have to find.

I went through all the Doom games a few weeks back. I do it about once a year - Doom 1 onto 2, through Final Doom and onto Doom 3, then the addon pack.

Never gets boring.

Cannon Fodder on my Acorn A5000

PC would probably be GTA (original) in a cool version of DOSBox which has 3DFX Glide Support :D

Had my Dreamcast out playing Crazy Taxi and Rez :p

Heroes of Might and Magic 2. That was a palaver to get up and running on Win 7 64bit, being a 16bit game.

Full Throttle via ScummVM - excellent game but completed in around 2 hrs.
Another World 15th Anv edition - you can finish this in under an hour.
Microprose GP2 via dosbox - but sadly can't truly play this as the keyboard controls are so poor.. lol Can't get my gamepad to work with it.

Memories..!! Anyone notice that older games can be just as short or even shorter then newer games?

I also remember Full Throttle have the best looking graphics in its day. Playing via ScummVM using HQ3 mode graphics, even then its looking so old now. lol Excellent game though.
