What's this like for car servicing charge?

Why do they top up brake fluid? The only reason the level should drop is because of wear on the brakes. If they keep topping it up you’ve then got to remove fluid when you replace the pads or it’ll overflow. As long as the fluid is above the minimum fill level they should leave it alone.
Not only that but most of the time the fluid looks like someone took a **** in the res

BMW will charge you that much nearly just for the microfilter!

Having said that on my last service they put an OEM cabin filter in and it's junk. Car stinks in traffic which it never did before. So I'm paying the extra this time.

Yea you need an activated carbon one to filter out diesel smells etc. OEM is probably just a paper one so won't filter out chemicals at all.
