Any fellow chicken Bovril enjoyers here? That stuff was absolutely golden on toast, such a shame that it's gone.

Used to do something similar for lunch everyday (used Chilli powder and had a cup of soup)Tinned sardines with a touch of scotch bonnet sauce mixed in and mashed up for easy spreading.
Sourdough adds to the crunch, much preferred for toasting than other bread.
That'll be strawberry and gooseberry conserve (as legally it can't be called jam)if you can find it strawberry and gooseberry jam. not many do it but its best jam going.
