Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 Processor 1.68GHz

DVD Super Multi Dual Layer Drive

Bet it couldn't beat my deal! 2 for the price of 1! My spec is:

Core 2 Duo T7400 @ 2.16GHz
2Gb 667MHz RAM
160Gb 7200rpm Hard Disk
7950GTX 512Mb GPU
Bluetooth & Wireless LAN
Vista Ultimate

Paid £1325 + VAT for this but the first one had 2 screen replacements which resulted in Dell sending me a complete new order (the brightness level wasn't the same as when it left the factory after the replacement screens). As of yet they've to collect the old one... and this was about 4 weeks ago! The replacement lappy is perfect - all in all, it's cost me the equivalent of about £662.50 + VAT per laptop!

Nothing special had it 7months

Acer 5633
Intel C2D 1.66Ghz
15.4" WXGA
Intel 950 GFX
120Gb HDD
2Gb Ram
wifi
Came with MCE with Vista Premium addon Running Ultimate

2gb of RAM
160gb 7200rpm HD

12.1" Tru Life LCD Screen with built in 1.3mp webcam

Got a nice Leather dell bag as well free of charge

All in it was costing just over £2k but got them down to £1100 in the end.

Superb laptop, really small and extremely quick and quiet...considering the parts i have in it.

LOL that is a great price I must admit! Obviously I couldn't sell the laptop that was supposed to have been returned due to the service tag / warranty becoming null and void etc so I gave it to my mum who desperately needed a new PC and she's well chuffed with it!

On top of all this I bought it through my company which, incidentally, is owned by my dad so I don't have to pay the VAT and only have to pay half the price! I'd say £662.50 is the bargain of the year for the spec it is!

Is that £800 you paid including the VAT? If so that's a stonking deal... how did you manage that? You drug the salesman or something? ;)

Basically, someone had purchased it (cost over £1600) not sure if they bought it themselves, or it was given as a present. Anyways, the guy needed money for a deposit on a car, he put it on ebay with his phone number up saying 'no good offers refused'

Phoned up, turned out he hadn't even taken it out of the box! went round the next day, expecting a scam. Everything was legit! Spent a good hour going through everything, checking it all out, and was satisfied :D
Offered him £750 (being cheeky :D) and to my surprise he said 'call it £800 and you've got a deal'

Apple MacBook (black)

XP (SP2)
