What's your minimum car spec?

Clearly it is because you're moaning about having to check every door every time you lock the car.

I have an issue with my doors locking, but can tell if the car has locked properly, or if only three doors have locked, from the noise it makes. :p

Brakes are important, brake pipes are important, loads of stuff is important, central locking isn't to waste my time or spend money on.

Selective maintenance. Usually only done for one reason, money.

Thought about getting a bus pass, that way the maintenance is someone else's problem?

How much time have you spent:

a) Checking every door is locked every time you leave the car
b) Arguing about it on the internet

Versus how long to just fix it?

What car is it? Probably just an actuator in the door needs changing. Thats what people have been suggesting my issue is. :p

Another one my new minimum specs would be

Electric fold in wind mirrors due to are really narrow roads my small island has and also my car is parked against a pavement outside my house..

Why? He's clearly not a petrol head and only uses his car as transport. He probably has a diesel monde and will simply drive it into the ground and then buy a new one. Why is that a problem? I don't get it

There is nothing in the car and I use it at the most once a week.
When I get to a gig I take the gear out of that door so can manually lock it, when I get home you wouldn't be able to open it because of how I park up the drive so I don't bother locking it.
I don't spend any time at all so it's not a problem however there is no need for all my doors to open when there's only me getting in the driving seat.

Seriously? That's a 'minimum spec' now?

Oh the humanity if it does 0-60 in 5.2 instead :p

Just seems like a 'List the spec of your current car' thread when people post stuff like that.

No **** Sherlock, hence why I bought it, it was to my minimum requirements!

I'd find it hard to go back to less now, hence it is a minimum requirement.
