Yeah - about as realistic a real-world driving figure as the New European Driving Cycle :).

Nice to see for novelty value though.
 
Just for my own personal interest (I was never that bothered before), I've worked out that I've been averaging 25mpg over the last couple of tanks.

That's mostly urban driving, 6 miles each way to work and back with a bit of traffic thrown in for good measure.

On a motorway run, I see mid 30s.

Mine is sat at just over 20 after 2000 or so. But I don't care as its so much fun to drive :). I do get near 30 on a long journey thou but it takes a while to get up that high. Round town is low teens.

I'm averaging 27-28mpg in the Almera thats usually 7 miles to work,12 into the city and then 14 back home via the motorway so a good mixture.

That's trying to drive sensibly *most* of the time. I did use a, vaguely accurate, quarter tank within 30ish miles last Thursday though :|
 
Averaging 50mpg on my journey to work now, roughly 12miles or so each way.
That will be back upto around 40miles each way in March which takes my fuel consumption upto 55mpg.
 
Currently sitting at 19.1mpg after a reset yesterday. Been enjoying some hooning.
 
App as now gone now I have got a new phone. Was averaging 27MPG over 3k miles.

Crap compared to faster cars what have similar MPG figures with loads more power.

What the hell are you driving? I'm guessing it's not a Monaro..
 
Android FuelLog (great little app) is telling me that I've:-

- averaged 26.5mpg over the last 2,800 miles.
- a best of 30.8mpg (for a full fill up)
- a worst of 24.3mpg (for a full fill up)

2005 Saab 9-3 1.8t remapped to 200bhp, mostly town driving around Grotty, with some A roads with occasional motoway blasts down to London.

Up until now it's been 27 or less on my daily commute but from next month it will be at least 10MPG higher as I will be walking to work :D

It could be higher but tbh, my car likes being revved so I give it what it likes ¬_¬
 
The current trip computer average in the RS6 is 18mpg. I can top 20 on a run at sensible (sub 100) speeds.

In the A6 TDI 40mpg combined is pretty easy to achieve even with feet of lead.
 
My 1.9 gets 45 mpg if I'm 'speeding' about but I've hit 55 mpg when being sensible. Pretty high for stateside, looks likes its nothing amazing but still pretty good by EU standards too.

Abit too early for me to say, but over the last 300 miles i've got 17-21mpg 80% of that was 30mph roads.

Thats in a modded 200sx (s14a)
 
I'd love to know what the 22 people who are getting over 60mpg average are driving :eek:

With the new commute I'm averaging just over 34mpg now. With my work miles going up rather than down on top of the longer commute the next motor is going to have to be of the pocket money running cost variety :(
