Octavia VRS (2.0TFS). Been getting about 29mpg on my 14 mile trip to work in this weather (journey is mainly small villages, bit of traffic and some NSL windy/hilly B roads).

Not bad considering the traffic has been appalling lately and every morning this week i have had the car idling for 5 minutes whilst i warm it up and de-ice the damn thing.

During my whole journey to work this morning the outside temp never went above -3! yuck.

ive been driving my XJ sport about on petrol recently (its gas converted so i usualy run on that) and ive been really impressed with the thing as im averaging about 29mpg. Around town it is pretty bad getting about 16mpg, however on a run i can get 40mpg out of it without hanging around either. i think thats impressive for a 3.2 v8 that weights about as much as a ship.

34mpg in my Clio 182 over 1k miles. Mainly commuting 25miles each way and pushing it in between traffic/weekends (sees 7200rpm a lot).

My 306 DTurbo, to work and back (14miles each way, 8miles of the M5) - 45-50 mpg, around town 30ish if that...

My G/f's TDI Golf - 66ish combined, 75+ on long journeys.

OUCH!!
Feeling rather butt hurt filling this new Disco Td5 up.

£120 to the first click (87 litres)
How far did that get me.....
451 miles... :(
23.5 mpg !!!!

If I drive like a granny I get 23MPG in the 850 T5, average about 18, my mazda 3 isn't a lot better either, I average 28MPG

So the warm weather means MPG should be improving for everyone.

Today over 3 separate journeys totalling 90 miles I averaged 56.3 MPG.
BMW's figures of 38 MPG Urban, 49 combined and 60 Extra Urban are very achievable.

I'm amazed by the overall performance & economy of the BMW N13 118i engine.

This lovely warm weather has done wonders for my MPG, during the cold spell I was lucky to see 32mpg on my 20 mile commute, now i can get 37 without even trying.

Doubt I'll see numbers like that any time soon though, moving into my new house on monday and cutting my daily drive from 20 down to 6 miles probably wont even have time to warm up.

hmm, must have missed that...

I have been pleasantly surprised by the Volvo XC70. 41mpg average so far with mostly motorway and town driving, about an 80/20 split. For such a heavy car and considering the enngine has a bit of poke behind it, I find it quite economical. I was expecting roughly similar economy to my E90 330d however over 15k it averaged 34mpg.
