What's your usage bills for this month so far, do share :D

Gas/Elec - £170(estimated) will most likely be lower as it was £120 last time
Water Bills - £149 ( haven't had my waste water bill yet )

Do you prefer DD or payment right out?

how big is your house for those bills?? DD is the way to go

Gas / Elec - £55pm (2 bed semi 2 Adults & Young 2 Kids so washing machine on 2-3 times a day + tumble dryer) annual spend last year Aug 2010 to Aug 2011 was £547
Water - £40pm would be £25 but had carry over from last year before I set up a DD and so spread one quarter over this years.

we were on water rates at £580 for the year when we first moved in, had a meter installed and the bill almost halved

Gas and electric are both PAYG
Gas £20 PM
Electric £40 PM. PC and Fridge use the most.
Water £35 PM Fixed rate

3 Bed semi detached house. Double glazing, wall and loft insulation etc. Me, Mrs and daughter aged 3.

The gas will be double that in winter when i use the central heating more.

Gas and Electric - £32 per month each (3-bed semi) - prices capped until 2014
Council Tax (Including Water) - £200 per month

Live in Belgium in a 3 bed detached 2 adults 1 kid ...

Gas 89€ p/m
Leccy 96€ p/m
Water 35€ p/m

Fun living here with 21% VAT on all bills

That is a stupidly high energy bill Neil.

I don't know mine (DD and monetary ignorance are my best friends), but it's a few hundred a year.

can't remember what my water rate is, it's about £130 p/a

gas - £20 p/m
electric - £15 p/m

i pay dd and so far the accumilation of gas over the months i don't have my heating on has worked in carrying me through the year

i don't use much electric as i live on my own

5 bed semi here and I've paid £822 for Gas and £815 for Electricity over the last year. That's £68 each per month average through the year. That's 2 Adults, 2 Teenagers and 2 young kids.

Water is a fixed value. Not sure if it would be cheaper going with a meter as everyone loves to wash around here and the washing machine is on 2 times a day at least.

Seems pretty high but wife loves the tumble dryer even in the hottest of summers and it's a pretty cold house in the Winter so the heating is basically on all day. If I owned the house I might insulate stuff and do something about it.

Could probably save if I went DD but I prefer bills for some reason.

I pay £200 a month for gas and electric and I know others on here who pay similar amounts.

I can't understand why the price differences are so massive.

Around £130 a month for leccy, but Im with Spark Energy (just moved in, in process of moving as they charge 28p per unit of day energy :o!!!) and £28 per month water.

2 bed flat, just 2 of us, during workdays the flat is vacant from 7am to 8pm

£70p/m for gas and electric, thought it would be more as we use a lot of electricity
£40pm for unmetered water. dont want to go metered as we use a lot of water

Elec is a £100 a month (£50ish actual in summer, but fixed DD is to compensate for winter usage)
No gas, hence high elec costs in winter.
Water is about £10 a month (2 showerss day, 3-4 loads of laundry a week)

2 adults in a 1 bed flat.

Elec - £30 pm, Gas, £50pm
Water - £25 pm

Gas is quite high, seemed to be burning it for fun last winter so still paying for that. Have a wood burner now, so shouldn't use as much this winter (but wood is costing me around £50 per tonne, and will need at least a couple of tonnes for winter)

2 adults in 3 bed terrace.

My Gas/Elec is every 3 months and the estimated is always well over sometimes £100+. It should be nearer £90 for 3 months, water tends to be the highest, probably as i don't have a shower but baths

As for D/D So far I only play water £20 a month

Gas is like £20
Electric is like £70
Water is like £35

However with winter coming Gas will shoot up to around £40-50 and Electric to nearer £80-90.

Bills. They Suck.
