That's an ATI driver problem it's been like that for years their Q&A is atrocious, all they had to do was make the window smaller.

I think mine would be Windows 8. :p

yeah windows 8 is unbelievably awful, the only the good thing i found about it was the fact tht it installed all of my drivers for my internal parts but other than that its pretty awful

XP. It was such a nightmare getting the drivers sorted. Oh I can just hop online and download them. Nope, the network card driver isn't installed. I'll just download them on another pc and install them from usb. Nope, usb controller needs a driver. Aaaaaargh!

The other week I put a new cpu and mobo in my win8 build, and it just updated all the drivers and was fine. That's progress.

Installing XP on an old Abit board that had a dodgy IDE controller, spent weeks trying to figure out why it kept BSOD'ing, turned out that IDE hard drives causes the crashing. Solution: upgrade to SATA. :)

This but with added not having a PS2 keyboard handy so working keyboard for a while.

Its a tie between these:

- Installing windows 95. I was 10 years old and pretty new to PC's. The manual said something along the lines of "type x:\Windows\setup.exe where x is the letter of the CD drive you are installing from" So what do i do? I spend hours typing "x:\Windows\setup.exe" and getting nowhere lol. I eventually figured it out though and typed "d:\Windows\setup.exe".

- Installing windows 8, the installation went fine but ugh... yuck! When i saw that tacky fisher price start screen for the first time i was horrified.

Installing Windows ME on an old pc and being greeted with a BSOD on 2nd boot multiple times, moved to Windows 2000 and problem solved.
