or some people are over blowing the situation?
I think that is the most likey answer

or some people are over blowing the situation?
Did your parents ever turn the vacuum cleaner on while you were watching a movie or playing a video game?Same thing
I can never understand why people complain about the noise, do you all have the volume on your TV turned down as low as it can go or something?![]()
No, but Id rather prefer to have it on a lower setting so that the actual volume my ear determines it at is the same level as the much higher volume it has to be when playing a game and the xbox is going at full tilt.
Just sold out and bought a 360 elite (always used a PC for gaming). I know the 360 is loud but when is loud too loud?
so its either a lot of lucky people or some people are over blowing the situation?
Yeah, damn you must be right. The hundreds of people on the internet, including games journo's, claiming their 360's are too loud are just making it up and you are of course right - the 360 isn't loud at allI think that is the most likey answer![]()
But what I'm saying is at normal volume levels it drowns out the sound of the 360, I have never found I have had to turn the TV any louder than I would anyway. I can only hear the 360 over the sound of the game if it is turned down really quiet, much quieter then I would normally have the volume.
Maybe I'm just going deaf![]()
I can hear yours from the opposite end of Queens ParkI have to say that it's the DVD drive that makes the unacceptable noise the rest i could quite happily live with without moaning about it.
What a load of s****![]()
I like playing games and watching films where you have the periods of no sound interupted by drama inducing sound effects, rather than the dull hum of one of Mr Gates rushed products bluring it altogether as background noise.Sound has a huge effect on creating atmosphere, it would be SO MUCH BETTER without the noise.
To top it off, the noise from the fans cooling the thing is ridiculous, yet out of all my electrical products the Xbox is the only one I have overheating concerns with and take precautions in its placement and use. Nice.
I can happily say that anyone sitting within 6 feet of their 360, in a silent part of a film, on DVD, (of which there are so many in so many films it's not even worth mentioning) who cannot hear their console needs their ears testing (just as a precaution).
