When the gtx590 and hd6990 out in uk?

To "save face", the most powerful card is seemingly the most important thing to them. I wouldn't put it past them at all to sell something at a loss just to make sure they're perceived as "the best" by having the fastest graphics card. They are not going to let AMD/ATI beat them on the noise and heat front, they will get something out to take the title ;)
 
well nividia want their crown back, and in this game the crown i suppose is all that matters; but i doubt ati will go down without a fight. the winner; only time will tell.
 
well i was waiting for these 2 beastly cards after selling my 5970 but i'm going to get 2 580 twin frozers in sli bit expensive but i'm not going to buy them in one go going to buy 1 this week and another probly in 3-4 weeks i prefer this method of buying actually. and 2 580s will destroy anything the 590 has to offer.. altho for like 200 quid more hahah :(
 
before you jump the gun, wait a bit and see the benchmarks for the 590, i mean after all you could be pleasently surprised.

and if u were gunna sli 580, why not crossfire 5970? (just asking)

heard the crossfire 5970 had problems the 5*** series had terrible scaleing fantastic card though and well by the time i get my second 580 the 590 will be out anyways so if worst comes to worst i can just sell the 580 but a 590 will definatly not match 2 580s specially overclocked 580s

that would be like... super sonic hotcakes on 1 pcb
 
it would be quite funny i rekon, if nvidia lost out to ati again, wonder wt nvidia say next. when 5970 was fastest nvidia said gtx580 fastest single core.:cool:

and leinad amme i never heard the 5series had crossfire problems, in fact i heard crossfire was better then sli, again i reiterate i just heard this.
well anyway let me know how the sli comes along.:D

it wasnt crossfire that was the problem it was quad fire apparently between 4 gpu's in the ati 5970's sorry i forget to say quadfire in my last post :P
