What do you do with the tea bag?

Do you have a small dish type object to place it on? Do you annoyingly leave it on the side of the sink for your partner to place into the bin, even though the bin was just as close, if not closer to your tea making station than the sink was?

Or do you get things done, and go straight for the bin?

It is Sunday, it is the time of the exciting pre-working week discussion!

Indeed, the bins right next to the kettle, why would I not?

Jcb33.

I find leaving it on the side of the sink exerts power & control over the kitchen, and those within it. A Jedi mind trick as such, I can make my OH open the bin in the kitchen throughout the day!

straight in the bin unless the bin is full, in which case I leave it on the kitchen top until I decide I have the energy to get a new bin bag out the cupboard.

Again straight to the bin.

But I have lived with many people whose philosophy is to throw it at the bin and miss then allow the bag to sit for days on the floor.

I'll dab up any crumbs on the bread board, then bin it.
I have a vague recollection that tea is slightly antiseptic, so maybe good as a cleaning agent?

Little pot next to the tea, coffee and sugar jars, which her indoors empties into the bin all the way at the other end of my 15 ft long galley kitchen. Sounds lazy, but I can get my wheelchair up to the kettle area and turn back around again but if I go further into the kitchen towards the bin, I can't turn around and get back out again!
