Where are you getting your Turkeys?

Are the pre-orders guaranteed - or can they substitute ?

Had this conversation with my mum the other day, as she's under the impression that pre-orders will take preference over what goes into the shop. Although if say M&S have had 10,000 pre-orders and only 5,000 turkeys get delivered then there's going to be some unhappy people.

We normally buy fresh, but decided it's not worth the risk this year so bought a frozen one at the weekend.

They can’t guarantee anything if the flock gets culled due to bird flu, the best you’ll get is ‘sorry, due to bird flu we were unable to supply your bird, merry Christmas.’
And your 'free range' bird will have been kept inside. Not having turkey this year, going for beef instead.

Ordered it from a local butcher and made peace with that .
I am much more worried about my upcoming exams and other assignments which i ordered from this service https://www.grabmyessay.com/write-my-thesis which i need to present in front of my group and couple of teachers next week. Don't think about holidays at all at the moment, as they are still long way ahead.

Pre ordered a Norfolk Black crown from my work. Mum was panicking over the avian flu so added a sirloin beef joint. If get both, the latter will be used for NYD or my birthday in Jan.

Anyone not pre ordering a turkey, hoping somewhere will have a turkey, will be disappointed.

within a couple of weeks now, so if they are hung for a couple of weeks supplier would know if there is any supply issue.
