Where to Propose!!!

Just marry the girl. Passport or not, you'll get some cool kitchen appliances as gifts.

Where to propose - my dream has always been to take her to the the hilly areas of the southern part of Orissa, India and get a white owl to fly down, land on my shoulder and regurgitate a ring into my hand where I'll place it on her finger.

Lets switch this to keep the thread running.

Me I want to go to Devils drop in Brighton, Chill in the Boozer & get sauced up & fully fed, Then go out by the edge & propose whilst standing above the clouds  Kin Love that place.

Im trying to arrange a holiday in April. During this holiday i will be asking my lovely GF of 1 year to Marry me :)

I have been racking my brain on the way and where to propose. I think i will just do it on a beach somewhere, maybe in Goa? Bahamas? Barbados? Cyprus? Spain?

Where would be a good romantic place to propose? Describe it!

Ta v much.

If this is a long distance relationship and you've never lived together- or been in the same country for long periods- you are absolutely nuts to be marrying her.... Don't do it!

having only spent a matter of weeks together in ideallic locations its gonna be a massive strain being married 24/7, especially for her in a foreign country

QF absolute truth... My GF (Not married and no plans to :p) is Brazilian and lives with me... you are in for a real shock as for what it is going to be like for her coming from her home to a new country and trying to settle/ get a job/ paperwork/ bank accounts/ friends, etc... It is very stressful for both parties.... Tread very carefully.

What better way to kick-off a life together than with shared owl-vomit dregs :)

Dude I work with had an arranged marriage & had only spoke to the Doris once on the phone, I think they have been married 8 years now & have 2 kids. Another Doris is just about to enter an arranged marriage & is perfectly happy.
Different strokes for different folks, Each to there own I say :)

Take her for a picnic somewhere really cool looking (like on top of a hill), just when its raining....

Wait for her to get wet as hell, annoyed and confused at to why this is fun for you then BAM! (propose, dont kill her....)

Works like a charm........;)

Writing in the sand is cheesy, shows little creativity and is prone to go wrong due to the sea.

I think it's important to be creative.

I've been working on secret plans for years now; the creativity of which would astound and astonish you - but the gf reads the forums so I can't share :p .

oh... :( .... tell them, dammit! :D

Got any photos of that Jaguar XFR-S you bought yet? I reckon it's been nearly 6 months since you said you'd post some, and I distinctly remember you saying that you'd take some of the interior all lit up when I asked.

Tell her to get away from work and meet you by the water. She should arrive to find you standing on a yacht, with a single white rose in your hand. The yacht should be adorned with lots of little white lightbulbs.

Help her aboard. Get down on one knee and propose. She'll say yes. If she insists that she has to get back to work, convince her to at least come down below and have a glass of champagne.
