Prague is expensive? Since when? Maybe right in the centre bit but I when I was there you only had to step slightly out from the centre and booze was uber cheap.
Luc in the Monk's Hole is a bit mad but a great guy.
Another vote for Krakow, sites, food, women, history, booze, fun and friendly people.
Rome doesn't have to be outrageously expensive and although it is certainly not lesser known it's must see.
Have a look around Spain, Basque Country, Granada, Seville?
Vilnius in Lithuania - interesting city and if you have any interest at all in strippers it's fantastic.

Not at all, too bad about your experiences son. Best place in Europe to go. I can sit in the Old Town area for hours on end reading, and go for one little restaurant to another. If you get tired of the friendly people, great nightlife and ample architecture, hop on the Danube and make you way to Austria. It only takes about an hour or two. All and all, well worth the visit.
Pricey that place is. I've been to Bergen 3 times this year and by God it's dear.
Hehe, I stayed there my first ever time in Bratislava. Does Katka still work there? Hawt babe that is. Love that Tesco, five floors and all. Think I saw some Aussie bar or something in that area as well. I know stay in Old Town every time I go.
Im a student in Prague and beer is about 80p a pint where I stay, there is some big tourist traps in place in the cetre though. My rent here is £90 a month in Glasgow it was 4 times that! Public transport is also very cheap here, nothing like £14 one way from heathrow for just half an hour...

I have mixed feelings about Lisbon. It's dirty and it feels like everyone is trying to rip you off for being a foreigner and supposedly rich. On the other hand, lovely beaches, nice babes and fairly cheap too. I'd recommend avoiding Athens as if plague is widespread, peole are killer zombies and HIV walks the street poking needles into everyone. Dirty, overpriced, busy and way too hot.

As stated above, define cheap? Away from city centre its a pound a pint which is indeed cheap compared to the uk. Point is there are some other really nice cities in Europe where you can still get pints for 40 pence which makes Prague expensive in comparison.
Plus 5 years ago you could get pints for 18p in Prague. Going from 18p to £1 in 5 years is nasty inflation.

Just came back from a roadtrip to Amsterdam stopping off in Brugges also. Weird place but its really nice with the cobble streeets etc nice romantic place if u want to take your lady.
Amsterdam night life was a bit dull after 11pm couldnt find any clubs to go to but had a good laugh still, mmm febo.

Stockholm is an amazing city i recommend it to everyone.
My suggestion would be Corsica (fly easyjet to Nice then catch the ferry). Or Andorra (could fly easyjet to Toulouse and then hire a car to drive there).

Not been to Norway (yet!) but Denmark is a fantastic country... but it isn't cheap so that rules it out for the OP. It is cheaper than Sweden though.
