Very crappy House party, up all night wasted, stoned,everything, 420

At uni, 2 or 3 am ? Mate was shagging a bird from across the street. No freaking clue what i was doing wasted, stoned, 420.
...when Jacko died?
He died? Oh snap....
...when ding-dong the Witch is dead?
Not sure I might have been in Sweden, didnt she have a state funeral? I did laugh though. (Dont care)
...during 9/11?
In Oxford visiting a friend, was working off shore at the time had 2 weeks off. Was about to get the bus back to London when the first plane hit, watched for a bit then left, 2nd plane hit while i was in the pub opposite the bus stop watching it on TV....
Everyone was talking about it on the bus. It was before the time of mobile internet so radio all the way. Got back home and ....

In a field in Devon, with my very recently ex'd girlfriend. It wasn't the best of holidays

House party in Cambridgeshire. Most of my mates from uni, and several from folk camp. A very good end to the worse year of my life. I got laid ;)

At home in Burnage. Had come home from clubbing. News said that she had been in an accident but was doing ok. Woke up to find out she'd died

At Glastonbury, thought the DJ in the bar was taking the p. He wasn't.

Her death wasn't that important

At work in Salford. Just had a 2mb leased line installed. It got hammered and no work was done that day. Too much live reporting that I wish I could unsee..

On duty in army hospital for 2000/2001, 1999/2000 probably out with mates for few drinks but no big celebrations

Had afternoon snooze with radio on and thought it was a dream when I heard it until I went downstairs and saw it on Sky News :(

...the Millennium? Watching my mother in law wee in central London surrounded by millions of other people doing similar, worst night ever
...when Princess Diana died? Living in Fla, someone woke me up with a call
...when Jacko died? Can't remember
...when ding-dong the Witch is dead? Can't remember (but she wasn't all bad)
...during 9/11? In an office in Grosvenor st, someone put a TV on. Went to the american embassy just up the road for the silence and so on.
 
Was at a fleet foxes concert when jacko died, someone shouted it out, it was sort of half believed so they said, 'this one's for you, Michael'.
