Went for gigabyte too has a 3 year warranty and I have had a bad experience with a sapphire 1950 pro was told on sapphire forums by admins that my corsair 520hx wasn't good enough to power it lol
on further investigation it was the fact that the voltage chips have inadequate cooling so I had to rma it under the dsr, so that kind of put me off them for life.
LOL so it wasn't the sapphire after all.![]()
Erm yes it was as i had that card soon after I got the psu.
Lads, all I can say is that a PSU tester is a must have item!
Yep & they dont cost allot.
They don't test them they just send you a new one. There's no way my psu was half dead it was running an overclocked 8800gt only 2 weeks ago just fine never had any problems what so ever I have been ati twice in 2 years each time have had problems.
According to yellowbeard you simply send it in and they give you another.
