I think I would rather have it than not but it may push some bikes out of my price range. Priorities man, priorities. Probably better cheaper and safer than more expensive and less so, at least as a new rider. Still, if I pass this year and can resist rushing to the nearest showroom brandishing a pass certificate, maybe some ABS models will go down in price next year to remain attractive.

I got a really good deal without ABS... if I was going to get the ABS model would cost me 1k more (because of the deal on the non abs), if it was around £300 more probably I would.
