So you only want to use stock clocks now? Well I guess you should stick to the paid reviewers and I will stick to what I use and ascertain to be correct. Like I said many times, I am not trying to sell anything and giving people a fair reflection of what is what.

Man i want to use gaming 24/7 clocks as i mainly game. Benchmarking clocks are mainly no where near standard gaming clocks. Believe it or not most people buy there hardware to game for long amounts of time. When speccing cards for people this is what i mainly think about and there wallet.

You're talking sense and we all know that but you're wasting your time with this one.

Give up dude!!! You do what you must and good luck on picking your next upgrade.

Already did was a ps4 lol. It's you who should give up though as cards are designed for gaming and most people wanting a card specced are doing so for gaming. They will most likely be using the cooler on the card which is usually air. They will then plug it in and start gaming. Some will overclock for free performance but even then it won't be even close to what we see in the bench threads. End of so i suggest you give up.

Don't be rude Matthew please.

People seem to be missing humour today. I will jump out of this thread now anyway, as the OP has decided (I think) on what to get and the rest of the debate is taking a turn for the worse.

I think we made our points tbh. Humor missed or not am going out for a huge steak and a few pints. Good debate and nothing personal. No need for you to go anywhere. Its all :D:D:D:D:D:D ;)

Stop speaking sense god damit.

Is that the same for everyone? :p

It is for me. 1228 is my max on the inno3d bios and 7380 on the memory, not that it's needed for gaming but why not settle at 7ghz memory and 1189 core for 24 / 7 use, even on 7 days to die that's not needed but as that's my fav game right now.

Yep all those clocks i see are stable for gaming. You forget while benching especially one run Nvidia hardware boost's way higher than they do when warmed up. Again bench results mean little when thinking about 2-3 hours of gaming.

Mine just boosts to 1189 whenever and whatever I am playing or benching! 65c maximum.

That has proper made me laugh and what on earth gives you the idea that the nVidia guys are on the verge of blowing up their hardware.

hopefully this 300% bios will sort me proper :D

300% BIOS has stopped the throttling and I was still getting it in this bench. Back to installing the latest drivers and I will see if I get any gains :)

I am now rocking a 6970, as after benching, I was sat on the desktop just browsing and the computer just shut off. Wouldn't power back on, so grabbed an old 8800GT and no probs but tried again with the Titan and nothing, no power, nadda, zip

Killed the Titan?

Afraid so :(

I would consider that pretty nice for gaming and the kind of clocks i am talking about.

There was a thread created that asked what nvidia card you had and what it boosted to out if the box, It was very informative and most aftermarket cooled 670, 680 , 780 , and titans seemed to be around 1100mhz on the core.
