Which dishwasher tablets?

We use Finish or Fairy depending on offers at the time, never had an issue even in a cheapo Beko dishwasher.

I would give it a clean through with one of the dishwasher cleaners if it has not been done i a while, and check the filter at the bottom, inside of it the ball valve of your machine will pop out so make sure that's also clean.

We still using rinse aid (either Waitrose own brand or Fairy when it's on offer) as we find glasses, wine glasses in particular dry better and with less streaks when we use rinse aid.

There are many variations of the Finish Powerball, such as classic (sold by discounters), some kind of eco version with less harmful chemicals etc, Shine and protect, 3 in 1 etc.. so you have to specify which one when comparing.

Always buy a few large boxes of Finish Poweballs, somethink like 96 tablets for £9 (when they are on offer), always do a great job, however last week a glass came out dirty so i may need to run a cleaner through.

Same here, I just stock up when on special offer/half price. I've umpteen boxes in the cupboard. :o

Means you don't have to clean out a manky filter as often though (which is a hateful job) :p

No you just have to clean out a manky sink drain instead every so often. :p

I must confess though, I'm a bit OCD when it comes to loading my dishwasher, my wife always moans at me that I almost clean the dishes before loading them. At the end of the day I'd rather rinse off down the drain than clog up a £££ dishwasher.

Guilty of this too!

We use (or used to as ours is not installed atm) Fairy Platinum, they seemed to have the best result for us.

Fairy Platinum contain rinse aid and you said you also use rinse aid.

Are you sure these are tannin stains and not rinse aid stains?
